Who are we? 

Your best friend: your mother, your grandmother, sister, mother-in-law and your favorite female cousin.  The co-worker with whom you swap dating stories, your freshman year college roommate, your travel companion and your confidante neighbor. We make up your girls night out, your bridal party and your book club.  We threw your baby shower, were the first to arrive at your sweet sixteen, your graduation party and your housewarming.  We were there the night you met him, the day that you delivered her and are looking forward to helping you celebrate many more decades in style.

 

The Story

Yellow Threads was inspired by the women who have most influenced my life. Yellow, representing the color of friendship and also being my mother’s favorite hue, honors a quote she loved to say to my best friend of twenty-two years and me, “If you have one true friend in life, consider yourself lucky.”  I have been blessed by amazing friendships, mentored and motivated by incredible women, each of our stories creating a unique and beautiful thread as we continue to share life’s ups and downs.     

Yellow Threads connects women as we travel through life together, weaving rare and complicated, yet beautiful patterns of each experience that we share along our journeys. The talented artists and craftsmen featured by Yellow Threads have been hand selected from around the world, to provide a wide variety options so that you can select the perfect gift to help celebrate every monumental moment in womanhood and friendship.  

She made you smile on your worst of days, gave the speech that brought everyone to tears at your wedding and always knows just the right thing to say to calm you down or get you revved up.  She never forgets your birthday, anniversary or first day on a new job.  She’s not afraid to tell you how that pair of jeans really looks, and will happily give up a Saturday to shop with you until you find the perfect pair.  She’s always been your children’s favorite aunt and your parents still refer to her your adoptive sister.
